My Picosure Experience at Belo Medical Group

I have always been conscious of my armpits ever since I had an allergic reaction to a certain deodorant which made my armpits darker than the rest of my body. I have tried everything from whitening deodorants, magic cream, and IV glutathione (which I also got an allergic reaction). I am the type who want to see results immediately and I hate downtimes. Recently, Belo launched a new laser in the Philippines called Picosure. When I saw it on facebook I wanted to try it immediately! They claim that this laser treats hyperpigmentation, freckles, melasma, enlarged pores, and sagging skin. I have only had 1 session and I immediately saw results. I love that it helped lighten my armpits with no downtime. I can't wait for my next sessions & to finally have my desired smooth and fair armpits! I'm sure you are all wondering about the cost of the procedure, I only had my armpits done and it was 8,000php but since they had a 30% that time, I paid 5,600php. Here is the video of my experience and some clips from the procedure. I hope you find this post helpful and if you have any questions feel free to leave me comments.

Desio Lens Contact Lenses

I first learned about Desio Lens from Lena's blog (http://ladylonline.com) I loved how it looked on her so I decided to try & buy online from Desio Lens website (http://desiolens.com). I ordered last July and got my parcel 3 weeks later! I'm impressed with the fast shipment and updated tracking information.

I ordered 2 boxes (1 pair each box) of Caramel Brown in my grade -3.25 & -4.00. Each box comes with a free case.

Here is a comparison on my usual Freshlook contacts in Hazel and Desiolens Caramel Brown.

Left: freshlook    Right: desio lens

And here are selfies of myself wearing Caramel brown. If you want to see how Freshlook looks on me, you can check out my previous posts. <3

My Hairshaft Salon Experience

Nowadays social media has been a great tool for advertisements. Celebs and socialites post products & people immediately want what they post! I have been following Ellen Adarna & she posted a photo of her gorgeous hair captioned the name of the salon.
I viewed the IG page of Hairshaft & saw feeds of gorgeous ash blonde & brown hair! I have always wanted to achieve ash brown hair but I just didn't know how to do it. So after months and weeks of contemplating I have finally decided to make the change. I researched about the salon and found out they have a branch in Rob Manila which is the closest from my location. I sent a viber message to Jay one of their hair stylist and sent photos of my current hair and the hair I wanted to achieve.

Yesterday was actually Jay's off but he said to txt him and he'll be there. So I went at the salon around 10:30am. Jay and Ariel assessed my hair and ask a few questions about the treatments I've done and what color I used. Then he asked me what color I wanted and I showed him this photo from his IG.
Then I was shampooed by Ate Liezl and they immediately went to bleach my hair.
2 stylist were applying bleach and Ate Liezl was assisting them on parting my hair. It took a couple of mins and this is how my hair looked!

I immediately posted this photo on my FB and IG and I was surprised that there were people who liked the blonde streaks haha! After washing they applied the color to make it ashy.

I availed the hair treatment so after washing off the color Ariel applied the treatment to my hair while Ate Liezl massaged my hands. It was such a pampering experience I even had my head and back massaged.

Here are the photos of my new hair!

And this is Jay my hair stylist. The total cost of my hair is 11,000php including the treatment and the shampoo and conditioner with keratin. I love my new hair so much and I would definitely go back for a retouch after a few months. Thanks instagram & hairshaft salon for making ny hair this beautiful!

DupeAlert #2: MAC Faux & Kat Von D Lovecraft

MAC Faux has been my all time favorite MAC lipstick. It is the only lipstick that I have emptied since I discovered my love for makeup. Recently I wanted to try more from Kat Von D's makeup line so I ordered Lovecraft lipstick from Sephora. When i first saw the color in person I immediately knew that it would be my favorite l/s cause it reminded me of Faux. So I did a side by side swatch of the products. I apologize for the picture quality cause I took these with my iphone.

Kat Von D Lovecraft & MAC Faux

As you can see I transfered my Faux l/s to a container cause I had to scrape the bottom of the lipstick tube so I wouldn't waste the product and I was surprised by how  much product was in there!

See how the colors are very similar? The finish is the only difference since Lovefract is matte and Faux is more creamy and has a satin finish.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I was excited when I received an e-mail from Sephora Middle East that they're giving a free sample size of Benefit's new mascara, Roller Lash.

They claim to lift & curl lashes without the need to use an eyelash curler. I was really curious & was excited to try it cause if you have read my past mascara posts, I have long, limp lashes and regular mascaras don't work for me & they never hold a curl.

They have designed a unique brush wand which catches the lashes & lifts it.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Here's a photo of my bare lashes. They naturally hang down and I always have to use an eyelash curler to give it lift & curl.

Here's one coat of Roller Lash mascara. I say it did lift my lashes for about 1% (lol). As I've said before, regular mascaras don't work for me and using mascara alone without curling my lashes won't give them the oomph and curl that I want.

Here's my other eye which I curled prior to applying mascara, to see if it will hold a curl.

Here's one coat on my curled lashes, as you can see it did weigh my lashes down and & didn't hold the curl.

Left is just the mascara, right is curled lashes & mascara. I've noticed that the curled one (right) made it look more volumized.

I think the mascara concept is really great & I have seen some blog posts that this product worked for them and gave them amazing results, unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Maybe if I use my HG lash primer (Sisheido Nourishing Mascara Base) I would have better results with this mascara. As for removing the product, I used my Clinique Take The Day Off balm & it's so much easier than Benefit's previous best selling mascara "They're Real".  Would I recommend this product? Sure if you have lashes that are easy to curl with just using mascara, give this product a try!

DupeAlert #1 : MAC Unlimited

I can't have enough pink/brown lipsticks. It's the perfect "my lips but better" color. I wanna share with you cheaper dupes of my fav MAC Unlimited prolongwear lipstick. On the swatch it looks slightly different but on the lips they look exactly the same! I just love finding dupes of the more expensive brands cause you can have the same color for a cheaper price!

What do you guys think of these dupes? Tell me in the comments. :)
